The study abroad market in Turkey has been expanding steadily. There are more than 200 educational agents assisting students in Turkey - each encountering common internal and external problems
We have formed a group called TEAG- Turkish Education Agents Group- a platform for sharing concerns and exchanging ideas about our sector.
TEAG Targets • To gather a platform of expert agencies to exchange opinions and concerns regarding this sector • To lobby collective grievances regarding visas and other problematic issues surrounding this market. As TEAG our main concern will be to lobby the Consulates in hopes of sorting out not only standard setbacks experienced by language students but also within the international travel sector as a whole. • To maintain higher standards and quality assurance to those who wish to study overseas. • To actively promote overseas education in Turkey. • To become a reliable information source for overseas educators in the Turkish market. • To organize national meetings for TEAG members in order to achieve a greater understanding of common concerns and uniformly meet platform objectives.
