FELCA and GAELA
The largest meeting ever:
45 participants in London
The meeting between FELCA and GAELA held in London on 29 August opens up new prospects for collaboration between school and agency associations.

Left to right: Stephan Roussonis (ELSAC Cyprus), Darren Conway (English New Zealand), Kevin McNally and Giorgia Biccelli (IALC)
While the 22 participants at FELCA’s 2025 AGM were already a record number, the addition of 23 members of GAELA, the Global Alliance of Education and Language Associations, brought the meeting between national school and agency associations to a record 45 attendees at the FELCA-GAELA meeting. This is a very important annual meeting, which always takes place after the two Federations have had time and opportunity to analyse market trends and the main issues affecting the work of schools and agencies. FELCA’s desire is to intensify and make more regular the meetings with GAELA members in order to develop joint projects that can make the collaborative relationship between schools and agencies even stronger and more fluid.
