The Board is composed of: President: Perla Payán; Vice President: Alejandro Camacho; Secretary: Rosy Cesena; Treasurer: Ernesto Marbán; Board Members: Diana Mondría and Laura Aguirre; Coordinator: Zoe Vargas. The appointed representatives include: Schools: Jimena Romero; Providers: Gerardo García; Honorary Members: Martha Sánchez.

The year 2025 marked a period of consolidation and significant growth for AMTE — the Mexican Association of Educational Travel — strengthening its position as a leading reference for educational travel in Mexico and an increasingly recognized voice internationally. Throughout this cycle, AMTE reaffirmed its commitment to institutional continuity, sustainable growth, effective communication, member benefits, and the promotion of best practices across the sector.

Among the main achievements of the year were the renewal of AMTE’s official website and the development of a sales statistics platform to better understand industry trends. Membership also grew steadily, reaching an impressive 40% increase, reflecting the trust and active engagement of agencies and partners.

AMTE reinforced its national and international presence through strategic meetings with key organizations, opening new opportunities for collaboration and student mobility initiatives. Another major milestone was the launch of the AMTE–ANEX Training Cycle, designed to support the professional development of member agencies, as well as the establishment of the Ethics Committee to strengthen transparency and institutional support.

In terms of communication, AMTE introduced its official newsletter and expanded its digital strategy, significantly increasing visibility for member agencies and destinations. In addition, the creation of the “AMTE Seal” became an important step in recognizing agencies that meet the highest standards of quality and ethical responsibility.

Looking ahead to 2026, AMTE aims to deepen international cooperation, expand training programs with innovative global education trends, and continue building stronger partnerships and new opportunities for the entire educational travel community.
