February 11 new president and board for the Italian association

On February 11, 2025, elections were held for IALCA, the Italian Association of Language Agents and Consultants.

Daniela Socci (3S Soggiorni Studio, Gallarate) has been appointed as new president for the next three years. Takes over from Barbara Santuz (Destinazione Lingue). The new board members are Ketty Mangoni (Vice President – Holidays Empire, Rome), Pina Foti (ILS Study Abroad, Rome), Francesco Russo (Oxbridge, Turin), and Francesco D’Elia (Simply Education Travel, Latina).

Daniela Socci, a member of IALCA since 2019, will have as her main objective to make IALCA even more visible, authoritative, and recognized in Italy and internationally.

“The goal will be to increase the number of members (currently 26),“ said the new president, ”to combat illegal practices in order to protect our sector and enhance the work of agencies that operate correctly and professionally, and to provide training for members, both online and in person, on strategic issues for our work: regulations, service quality, communication, market trends, and international best practices. And, fundamental to gaining direct knowledge of partner schools, the organization of targeted fam trips to consolidate relationships with partners.
