JAOS invited at a reception at Irish Embassy
In December 2025, representing JAOS, Tatsu Hoshino delivered a speech at a reception hosted by Enterprise Ireland and English Education Ireland at the Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo.
Reflecting on his visit to Ireland last year for the Select Ireland Fam Trip Tatsu Hoshino spoke about the country’s high potential as a study-abroad destination for Japanese students. During his speech, he emphasized the importance of the Embassy, of English Education Ireland, and JAOS working more closely together to promote English language programs in Ireland to the Japanese market. Tatsu-san, vice president of FELCA responsible for the Asian members group, is very active alongside the other presidents Danny Chang (IECA Taiwan) and Annop Kanthatham (Tieca – Thailand) in organizing the FELCA Asia General meeting to be held on March 1st, the opening day of the ST Alphe Taiwan 2026 annual conference, which will take place from March 1 to 3. Topics to be discussed include how to expand the agencies’ market and how to address the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence.
