UED Turkey: A fam trip to the North of England

In October 2025, UED member institutions participated in a Fam Trip organised by English UK North and UED in the United Kingdom. During the program, participants visited leading language schools across three major cities – Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds. 

The group visited LILA and Bayswater in Liverpool; NCG, Berlitz, Essential English Center, and International House in Manchester; CES, English Path, and Bayswater in Leeds. Throughout the visit, UED members introduced the Turkish market and student trends to UK institutions, while also receiving detailed information about the schools’ programs, facilities, and local environments. The meetings provided a valuable platform to exchange insights and further strengthen collaboration between Turkish and UK language schools.
